Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions

Is there a free trial?
You can browse the platform and explore its layout before subscribing. To access the full question banks, detailed step-by-step explanations, and your personal performance analytics, a per-subject subscription is required. Subscriptions start at just one month, so you can try a subject without a long commitment.
How do subscriptions work? Do they auto-renew?
Subscriptions are per-subject and purchased for a fixed term - 1, 6, or 12 months. They do not auto-renew. You pay once and have access until your subscription expires, with no surprise charges. You can subscribe to as many subjects as you need, and renew whenever you are ready.
What happens if the power goes out or I lose signal mid-exam?
Your progress is saved to the server after every answer, not just when you finish. If load shedding hits or your connection drops, you can return to the same question when you log back in. Pauseable timed exams only stop the clock when you use Pause & Exit, while strict timed exams keep running until you submit or time runs out.
What payment methods do you accept?
We process payments through PayFast, South Africa's leading payment gateway. You can pay by credit or debit card (Visa or Mastercard), instant EFT, or other methods supported by PayFast. All payments are once-off - there is no recurring billing or automatic renewal.
How do I link with my teacher or tutor?
Your teacher sends you a link request from their Prepped teacher account. Once you accept, they can view your scores, time-per-question, topic performance, and weak areas - without seeing your personal account details. You can unlink at any time from your profile settings.
Can I build my own custom practice sessions?
Yes. The Practice Builder lets you select specific topics, set the number of questions, and focus on areas you want to improve. There is also a Weak Areas mode that automatically targets topics where your scores are lowest, and a Quick Practice option for a fast session when you are short on time.
